Columbia series validatable nozzle type vacuum sealer with gas purge is engineered to conform with stringent guidelines of ISO 11607 terminally sterile medical packaging requirements. The built-in external validation ports allow for validation and calibration of internal controllers for IQ/OQ processes. With proper qualification, process consistencies and seal validation protocols in place the vacuum sealer eliminates serious issues for highly-regulated pharmaceutical, medical devices, and clinical industries.


NasaVAC Columbia series validatable nozzle type vacuum sealer is equipped with ultra-impulse sealing system capable of temperature control and feedback system. The sealer produces consistent hermetic seals for a wide range of heat sealable materials coupled with temperature control, seal pressure control, microcontroller sealing and cooling timers. The Bi-Active impulse sealing system (top & bottom heating) seals Tyvek®, almost any medical pouch sealing application, all popular moisture barrier bag materials, anti-static pouches, and complex materials from 30” to 40” (bag opening length).


The powerful microcontroller has the capability of handling electronic records for seal parameters such as seal pressure, seal temperature, seal timer and cool timer with multilevel password protection and access to meet FDA’s CFR 21 Part 11 requirement. The protected electronic records are later to be retrieved by authorized individuals for computer-generated, time-stamped audit trials. It is most common practice for medical devices industry.
